Roche Harbor Resort: It must be something in the water...

Roche Harbor Resort has been hosting weddings and events on San Juan Island for decades, but this is their first year as part of Urban Unveiled. We have had the pleasure of coordinating several wonderful weddings at Roche Harbor Resort and we're so pleased to have them as part of the Talent this year!

If you are looking for full service, look no further!  Roche Harbor Resort is the only venue in the San Juan Island region that offers everything: venue, catering, beauty, accommodations, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, etc., on one property.  Once you arrive at the resort, you won't have to get back in your car until you leave.

Sam Jacobson, Roche Harbor's Lodging Director, tells us that his favorite part of a wedding is "Ringing the bells in the chapel after the ceremony.  It signifies that months of planning and energy and effort and hard work has been completed and the happy couple can begin to really savor the wedding experience."

For those that are familiar with the resort, the most appealing aspect of planning an event there is an emotional connection to the grounds or the islands or the water.  In fact, there must be something in the water.  For the second year in a row, on the second Saturday in July, the bride and groom jumped off the docks and into the water wearing full wedding attire!  Sam thought to himself, "Did they just do that?"
