Nash Fung | Seattle Premier Wedding Magician - Sophisticated magic plus clean comedy
We'll never forget the day last spring when we met with Nash Fung - Seattle Premier Wedding Magician. He came to our office to show us some tricks, and he was charming and gregarious, but we wondered: could his magic fool us up close and personal? Well, we were absolutely blown away by his talent with sleight of hand, and none of us could figure out his secrets! We are so happy to have had his artistry as part of the 2010 Urban Unveiled event. He has a charisma that wins over even the most skeptical of audience members.

Nash has been performing magic professionally for six years. He considers it his job to engage the crowd, break the ice among guests from different sides of the family, and keep everyone entertained throughout the night, and that's exactly what he does. He provides "sophisticated magic mixed with clean comedy”. Not just the same old tricks, when you are in Nash's presence you’ll see magic that is entertaining for adults, yet visually interesting enough to peak the curiosity of the younger crowd as well. All types of audiences can follow him as there are no cumbersome magic boxes or animals involved in his show. He assimilates into the crowd, just like another guest at the wedding, performing while mingling.

A definite crowd-pleaser is the magic he performs with objects borrowed from the audience. He might perform a trick with the best man’s driver’s license, or make someone’s cellphone vanish. Magic that is interactive is very well received. Take a look at this short video.
Discovering a magician at a wedding reception is a pretty unique and unexpected treat for your guests. But Nash Fung is no ordinary magician! His creativity, originality and sheer skill will astound you and your guests. He is constantly creating new tricks or putting his own spin on some of the classics. Nash stays away from clichés and will only perform his original material. A magician is a great idea for a couple that really thinks outside-the-box and wants something unexpected at their reception.
We asked Nash what his favorite part of a wedding event is and he responded, "Definitely the speeches! They are always the highlight of a wedding for me. As for my favorite part of performing, I’ll say the cocktail hour as everyone is geared up to party!" Nash continued with a story about a "wow" moment from one of his past events, "A bride wanted me to create a trick as a way of presenting a surprise gift to her husband - a watch for his collection. When she contacted me the wedding was only a week away, so I didn’t get to practice with the actual watch at all. All week long I was practicing the trick with an ‘imaginary watch’… Long story short, everything worked out perfectly, and to this day they are still talking about this trick." Check out the video from that event.

Nash has already signed up for the 2011 Urban Unveiled event, so you can check him out in person on October 12th!
