Flora Nova Design - memorable events for the discerning clientele
Christiane Zweifler of Flora Nova Design started her business in 2004 with just a handful of weddings. Word spread quickly of the caliber of elegance at Flora Nova, because her workload increased to 25 weddings and events in 2005. Flora Nova has been a part of Urban Unveiled from the beginning and they're always a delight to work with.

Flora Nova Design is a full service floral and event design studio. They offer floral designs for all aspects of an event or wedding: bouquets, tablescapes, large ceremony displays, etc. Their design services reach much farther than florals, however. Beginning with the clients’ style and vision, they examine the existing décor of a venue, incorporate the desired color palettes, and design an environment and atmosphere that speaks elegance and luxury. These design elements can include floral, linens, draping, lighting, props, furniture and everything else that enhances the look and feel of each event.
Widely recognized as a company that creates highly elegant, luxurious, and memorable events for the discerning clientele, Flora Nova combines a detailed eye with a sense of style and filtered through an artistic design approach to make every project special. Their reputation for high-quality customer service and for using only high-quality products brings customers back, and by following a strict design policiy, they exceed expectations over and over again.
A typical client will contact Flora Nova Design with just a few basic ideas for their wedding or event, and then put their full confidence in them to design the event they envision. The clients trust them to combine colors, textiles, materials, and floral to create the look and feel they could only dream of but could not express. Christiane says, "I love the client who puts just a few aspects of their design ideas into our hands and then lets us 'run' with it." Her favorite part of a wedding? "There are two that come to mind immediately. I love the time during the design process when my client and I are sitting down to bounce off ideas, brainstorm possibilities, and come up with a concept that gets both of us excited. And the excitement is usually most fun when the concept is a completely new one – something that hasn’t been done before but something that both of us can imagine. I feel honored when a client puts the trust in me to turn that concept into reality. But I guess the most favorite part by far is the clients’ excitement when we exceed their expectation. On the day of the event, when the installation is complete, I have witnessed many times squeals of joy when they walk into the ceremony or reception room. It is the moment when all the hard work pays off: all the many hours of planning, designing, installation get forgotten when I see that my client is thrilled with the outcome of the project."

She even had a "wow" moment just recently. "Well, I think that just happened this past Saturday. We were setting up the ceremony décor for a wedding and as various people went by – guests, vendors, venue staff – they stopped, took pictures, and said “wow!”. It was an unusual, labor intensive, and new design – something people hadn’t seen before. Something that triggered a moment of surprise. The “Wow!” is always the best compliment I can think of."
